Obituary of Paul Richard Timmins

It is with great sorrow that the family of Paul Richard “Steady” Timmins announce his passing, which occurred peacefully at the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at the age of 66 years.

He is survived by his spouse Laurie Timmins and his children Samantha (Kevin) Dupius, Steven (Katy Sock) Timmins and Joshua Timmins. He will be deeply missed by his cherished grandchildren Jayden Timmins, Lexi and Addison Dupuis, Maverick Timmins and Aylin Sock. He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers Joe and Brian and sister Nancy. He will be sadly missed by his parents-in-law Keith and Pat Pinkney, brothers-in-law Mike Pinkney and Angie Byveld and Jason and Jen Pinkney. His extended family members and friends and especially his extended family on Prince Edward Island.

Paul was a devoted husband, an incredibly proud father and a deeply loving grandfather. He enjoyed most being out on the water fishing but his greatest joy in life was his family and friends whom he loved beyond measures.

Paul will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, his kind and selfless nature and his fondness for taking the long way home.

Special thanks to his cousin Maureen Dzitars and her brother Joe for being there for him and the last couple of days staying with his wife at the hospital through the nights.

A celebration of Paul’s life will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Garage Sports Bar located at 41A North St., Perth, Ontario. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
