It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Luc Massie as the result of a workplace accident on September 12, 2026 at the age of 30.

Luc will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Rachel Brown, and is the cherished son of, Nancy Shaw and Marc Massie. He was a much-loved brother to Holli (Matt) Moore and Noah Massie, and grandson of Lucille Massie.

Luc was a loving uncle to Lena, Laine, and Leo Moore, who will each hold special memories of their uncle close to their hearts. He will also be dearly missed by his parents-in-law, Adrian and Lorraine Brown, and his brother-in-law, Sean Brown.

He will also be remembered with love by his extended family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives he touched.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church, 17 Elmsley St. N., Smiths Falls on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, St. Francis de Sales Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Smiths Falls Golf & Country Club from 1:00- 3:00 p.m.

In memory of Luc, donations to the Smiths Falls Golf & Country Club -Junior Golf Program, would be appreciated.

Luc's life ended far too soon, but the love and memories he leaves behind will remain with his family and friends always.
