Obituary of Abbie Michelle Fournier

It is with profound sadness that we announce that Abbie Michelle Fournier, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at The Ottawa Hospital – General Campus, at the age of 46.

Abbie will be deeply missed by her beloved daughter, Breckon Fournier, who was the center of her world. She leaves behind her brother Jason Fournier (Cassy Gogo), nephew Colby Pomeroy-Easton, and nieces Leila Fournier, affectionately known as “Beaner” to her Aunt Abbie, and Wren Fournier.

She will be lovingly remembered by her aunts Linda (late Leonard) Cardiff, Heather (Wayne) Kirkham, and Betty (Bob) Moodie along with her uncle Paul Fleming, with whom she shared a particularly close bond. Her late Uncle Terry Fournier (Nancy R.) and Great Aunt Jean (late Carl Wright) Abbie also leaves behind her step-sisters Trisha Fournier and Brandy Fournier, her very close friend Michael Easton, and many cousins, friends, and extended family members who will cherish her memory.

Abbie was predeceased by her mother, Nancy I. Fournier, her father, Breck Fournier, her grandparents Cecil (Doris) Fleming and Peter (Lorraine) Fournier, and her niece Fiona Fournier.

Abbie’s life was marked by the love she shared with her family and friends. She will be remembered most of all for the special relationships she formed and the lasting memories she created with those closest to her.

She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

At this time there will be no services held. In honour of Abbie, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth.
