Obituary of Livestream will air at 1pm Sylvia Jane Pearson

Passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the age of 88.  Loving and devoted wife of the late Mervyn Pearson. Loving and devoted mother of Dorathy (Robert) Smith and Susan Pearson.  Cherished grandmother of Riley (Ember), Chris (Grace), Joshua, Breana and Valerie. Proud great-grandmother of Miller, Ellie and Maci.  She is survived by her siblings Joe Bryan, Margaret (Billie) Masterson, Norman (Daphne) Bryan.  Sylvia will be fondly remembered by her niece Gillian (Paul) Bryan and her nephews Phillip (Vicky) Bryan and Trevor(Clare) Masterson. Sylvia will be fondly remembered by Pam Albert for her care and compassion to Sylvia for more than 33 years. She will be sadly missed by her family in Ireland, her extended family and friends in the Smiths Falls and surrounding communities. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to LAWS or St. John’s Anglican Church. Please note, there will be a memorial service taking place at St. John’s Anglican Church in Smiths Falls with interment at the Parish Cemetery in the Spring of 2027.
