Ritchie, Jean E. In hospital in Perth, on Saturday, October 20th, 2012 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband Lorne S. Ritchie. Loving and proud mother of Dale (Sylvia), Stanley (Sharlene), Terry, Bob (Linda), Darlene (Joe Mitchell), Sherry (Lee Brady) and Mark (Dawn). Jean will be sadly missed by her 16 grandchildren, her 10 great grandchildren, her brother John McConnell (Shirley McLenaghan) and many nieces and nephews; sister of the late Kenneth (Peggy) and Leslie McConnell and sister-in-law Joan McConnell. Fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Mary McConnell, Maizie Fournier, brother-in-law Tony Parro, Cathie Ritchie and many friends in the Maberly and Perth areas. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Monday, October 22nd, 2012 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the St. Paul’s United Church on Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. Interment, Laidley Cemetery, Maberly. In remembrance, contributions to the Main Street Community Service (Autism Support) in honour of her great granddaughters Alysha and Emily or to Laidley Cemetery would be appreciated.
