Diane, I'm so sorry you've lost your mom. I'm very much regretting that I didn't do more and think less about visiting, as I've been thinking of you often. Dang. Anyway, hurt as it must right now, please remember how lucky you have been, in that I envy the longer time you got to spend with your mom than I did with mine. Small consolation that must be right now, but again, I'm sorry for your loss.

Midnight housewarming
Dorothy gave me a run for my money in the "worlds biggest animal lover" category, and that's really saying something! I'll forgive her non-love of cats, as they wreaked havoc on the birds and small mammals populations she was feeding outside her door.
I've visited with Diane and Dorothy many times over the years, but I'll never forget the night we moved into the house in North Gower, and she and Diane stopped in to see how we were getting on. The moving truck was still there, it must have been sometime around midnight, and there were the ladies with the much-appreciated makings for coffee! What a crazy and totally terrific housewarming.
The lady with the lovely smile, Val and Bill and Mark's grama, has been a constant of the Hatfield clan. It'll be hard to get my head around thinking of you guys without her as part of the family. I'm very sorry for your loss.
