Emery, Gordon H. 'Bud' Suddenly at his home in Perth on Monday, March, 25th, 2013 in his 91st year. Bud will be sadly missed by Marilyn (Livingstone), his wife of 33 years, his daughters Kerry (Lloyd) Fennell, Meghan (Phil) Reid, Shawn Thompson and Gaye (John) Sandala, his 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and his many good friends. He was predeceased by his sister Audrey Huestis. As a young man Bud played hockey before going to work for the CPR all across the west. He finished his career of 41 years with the railroad as assistant superintendent in Smiths Falls. He was a Veteran of WWII serving overseas with the Regina Rifles. He was an avid golfer, skier, curler, skater and reader. He especially loved history and politics. Bud lived life to the fullest every day and his bucket list was nearly empty. Bud’s life will be remembered with a private family gathering to be held at a later date. In remembrance, contributions to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
