Peacefully in hospital, Ottawa with her loving family by her side, on Monday June 24, 2013 Susan A. Power-Gallant at the age of 67. Beloved wife and best friend of Linus V. Gallant. Much loved and respected mother of Noella Klawitter (Derek), Maria Power, Cheri-Lynn Power and Bernadette Vicente (Graham). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jenna Sky Power, Tanner Power and Mario, Christopher and Tiago Vicente. Dear sister of Debbie and Shelagh and step-mother of Michelle MacKinnon, Greg, Vincent and Jeff Gallant. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus at 10:30 a.m. Following the mass a reception will take place at Paddy’s Pub. Interment will then follow at Our Lady of Assumption Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Catholic Women’s League – Fort Augustus or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
