My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to the Conboy family. I remember going to your Mom's house to visit when I was a very little girl. Your Mom and Dad were very good friends of my Mom and Dad's. May God bless you all and memories will last forever.

Mrs. Conboy – Her spirit lives on in us, her former students. Her legacy is the high standards to which we were held and the way she expected us to be the best we could be, independent, creative, critical thinkers. Mrs. Conboy required perfect grammar and syntax from her students in their writing assignments along with their best behaviour on the playground. As my own career developed I appreciated the enormous influence she had and will always remember her kind encouragement and endearing sense of humour. We offer our sincere sympathy to the Conboy family. Arlene & Kevin Wilson

Fond Memories
I was very sad to hear of Granny’s passing and I am very sorry that I will be
unable to attend the service.
My first memories of Granny are from when she used to babysit me as a
young child, ice cream with maple syrup for breakfast and teasing me about whether or not I had a girlfriend when I was in kindergarten. I fondly remember the homemade meals, the apple pies and playing on the farm with my cousins.
I am very happy that Granny was able to meet her great granddaughter, my own beautiful daughter Stella Rose Conboy and that she enjoyed the few times we spent together in her declining years. Earlier this year I was just made aware of how beautiful Granny was in her youth via some old photos that aunt Betty showed us.
I know that in life Granny had more than her fair share of tragedy and responsibility and I am proud to be the grandson of such a strong person. I hope that you are now in a better place and free from all you burdens.
Your loving grandson
Steven Conboy

School Day memories.
Well, where do I start, this fine lady taught me in grade 5 at the upper scotch line school house, and at the end of the school year in 1967 when I received my report card,an envelope was included with my name on it. On this envelope was written:
To Mark for perfect attendance and inside was a $10.00 bill. I was on cloud nine as I never expected anything but my report card. To this day I still have this 10.00 which was never spent. At the school house my sister Donna Molyneaux and I would take grilled cheese sandwiches for our lunch wrapped in alumin foil and place them on the wood stove,my what happy memories, that was 45 years ago now. I respected this lady with every fiber of my being, whaat I liked about Mrs. Conboy was that she was strict, and ruled her class room with an iron fist. My family all knew her and my mother who is now passed, also often spoke kindly of this lady,I could go on forever, but I do want to say to her daughter Betty, what a privilege it has been having her for a mother,as she was the best, rest in peace my friend,we wwill all miss you especially your favorite student.....me.
thank you for allowing me to speak and share my memories and thoughts.
