I was truly sorry to hear about Alfie. Our deepest sympathy to you and your daughters. I don't know if Alfie told you but I ran into him a few times - even once on our street in Ottawa - when he was removing trees for the City. I truly enjoyed our chats as he was full of the family "gossip" of which I was out of the loop entirely. He was such a nice man with a great sense of humour. I am sure he will be greatly missed.
