Robertson, Herbert Hubbell 1930 - 2013. Peacefully, on September 7, 2013 surrounded by family at Perth after spending one last summer at the cottage. Herb is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Jane Elizabeth Code Robertson; his children Bruce Robertson (Kelly McCarthy), Janet (Louis) Lazaris, Judith Robertson (Mike Patti) and Brian (Jessica) Robertson; his grandchildren, Alex, Chris and Riley, Nina and Elizabeth, Sarah and Danielle. Predeceased by his sister Ann (late Peter) Code. He made the most of his 83 years: banker, pilot, sailor, member of the Company of Gentlemen Canoeists, wine maker, world traveller, voracious reader, literacy advocate, gentleman farmer, dry humourist, family man. He will be greatly missed. In keeping with Herb's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Celebrations of Herb's life will be held in Toronto on October 9th and at Otty Lake on October 12th (for details, cyberherb@sympatico.ca). Those wishing are asked to consider a donation to honour Herbert's life to the Parkinson's Foundation (for research).
