I am very sorry to hear of Mrs. Wedenmaier’s passing. I have good memories from childhood of her kindness while attending Drummond Central School. One time we were on a school trip and I lost my lunch, she gave me food and for dessert a delicious lemon square. In the years since public school we would see each other at gatherings and each time we would take the time to reminisce. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all you at this time of sorrow.

When I first moved to this area, I so wanted to get to know the people better, so volunteered to officiate at one of the provincial or federal election canvassing to create the voter's list.Marion was my partner, and obviously the captain of our two "man" team. It was a marvelous introduction to the people of Drummond, with interesting and positive stories shared with me. I shall always remember that, and how she brought me into her home ( after being introduced to her mother), and being so privileged and in awe of this wonderful gesture. Then when my little girl was old enough, she and her husband Alan were there at her school, and like they did for all the students there, watched out for her. There were a good few times that I heard from Caroline about a friendly gesture or deed, and a good few others where I did so appreciate what they had done to ensure she was alright. My deepest condolences to Alan, and their daughters.

We would like to offer our deepest sympathies on the loss of your wife/mom/grandma. We were so happy to get to know her while she was in the same hospital room with my Mom in 2012. She was a great blessing to us, as she kept watch over Mom while we couldn't be there, and she was very kind to Mom as well. We enjoyed our numerous chats and laughs. She will leave a great void in all of your lives, but her warmth and kindness will live on in all of you. May all your wonderful memories comfort you at this sad time.

Marion was a loving careing person she was all was there when you need a hug and a nice words she had a heart of gold . she was giveing l all ways had rasberrys every summer for my pies . l will miss her very mush my all the angles tske care of her now .
