I worked for Wayne at Bell after the Montreal Olympics. He was instrumental in my transfer to Ottawa in late 1976. For this I will always remember him with great appreciation. My condolences to Fran, Keith and the Peak family. May he rest in peace.

Just read in today's Gazette of Wayne's passing. I want to offer you my sincere sympathy for your loss.
lso, to let you know that David passed away on July 28th of pancreatic cancer: he was sick 4 weeks, 2 of which were in Paliative care. Life is not fair...and I miss him terribly.
Take care of yourself and know that life does go on.

I actually visited the website to view my mothers obituary and came across Wayne's first...my thoughts and prayers are with the family. I met Wayne when I was buying my very first house. The house was ok and it was just down the road from my mom's but it was because of Wayne that I actually decided to buy it. I hadn't known him very long, he so easily (and excitedly) shared stories about himself and his family with me and it was easy to trust him. As a single mom I felt like he took me under his wing and guided me gently through the process.....such a kind, caring man, and GREAT story teller!!! Keep the good memories close to your heart...
