As a poor and starving student, and Harold's roommate , I will never forget Bob coming to my rescue when my car broke down in Kaladar. It led to meeting my future wife, and at our wedding Bob and Pauline were kind
enough to accommodate me at their home on more than one occasion.
Pauline and I send our our heartfelt sympathy to Pauline and the rest of. The family

A Message of Graditude, encouragement and LOVE
A sincere condolence to the McCrum and the whole McCrum Familie.
On this day of the celebration of life, My fondest memory of Mr. McCrum is his flying brothers coming to my Dad's farm. As a little girl I listened to the stories at the kitchen table of the vision the idea of building a landing strip on Lot 13 Con 5, these boys needed a landing strip for their flying machines. And all Sam could do on the RailRoad was I bought a farm with ROCK. But his vision went one way and the fellow railroaders bought the farm 3 lots down the road. I enjoyed those flying machines on air show days. and I look the heavens and see those boys fly those machines. Mrs. McCum you taught me to swing the first Golf Club at Lumbardy Glen. I sure there are Golf courses in Heaven.

My memory of a very nice old man
When I was a resident at the Wedgewood last winter in February and March, I got to know Bob. After dinner he would seem a bit lonely so I would go and sit with him for a few minutes and ask him about his growing up years in the Maritimes. He always had a big smile for me. One evening while Polly was still at dinner, I sat with him in is room, blocking him from getting
out of his wheelchair but also having another good visit. When I left to come home after my recuperation, I often thought about Bob. Often he wasn't lucid so he told me some very interesting stories! But I just enjoyed sitting with him and chatting because he reminded me greatly of my father who passed away in 2005 and would be turning 100 this year.
Please accept my deepest condolences to the entire family on his passing.
