Dear Marilyn and Dorothy,
I just happened to be at the nursing station with the nurse when the call came about Sharon passing on. My thoughts are with you all.
You two have been wonderful sisters for her. It has been beautiful to see the caring and love you all share together. She was really blessed to have you to share her life with.
Where she is, I bet she is dancing away, free of the constraints of a body that no longer was serving her very well.
in sympathy,
Pamela Holm,MTA

Sorry to learn of Sharon's passing. Wishing you strength and peace at this sad time.
"To all that is brief and fragile, superficial, unstable. To all that lacks foundation argument or principles; To all that is light, fleeting, changing, finite. To smoke spirals, wand roses. To sea foam and mists of oblivion... To all that is light in weight for itinerants on this transient earth. Somber, raving, with transitory words and vaporous bubbly wines, I toast in breakable glasses." ---Maria Eugenia Baz Ferreira (with big hugs from the Netherlands, Helen)

Sharon created a larger dimension of love. Her gift was an unjudgemental, open acceptance of others, with a patient, gentle smile that will be remembered forever. She brought the best out of those who cared for her and loved her. There are "hinge events” in our lives. Sometimes they happen unexpectedly, when an event that opens us to change also opens us to challenges that strengthen us. The birth of a child who requires the best of us is such a time; the hinge event that opens our hearts. Hinges have pins, which allow them to function; the pin holds things together as doors open, and close. The pin is love. We will remember Sharon with a love that we did not know before. We say goodbye to her, but not to the memories, nor to the best that she brought out in others, nor to the love and the bond that she reinforced in her family.

Condolences on behalf of the six first cousins on the Pickell side of the Pocock family. Sharon was an inspiration to all of us throughout her life, with her strong will to overcome challenges. We will all miss Sharon, but she is now with her parents, uncles and aunts; God has a new angel. Though we are sad that she is gone we are so grateful that we had her in our lives. Thank you Dorothy and Marilyn for sharing your sister with all of us. Love, Doris

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of your sister, Marilyn, Dorothy, and Alvin. I know how much you loved her and how much she loved you. And I am very sad for Roger who lost such a good friend. I know you all will miss her so very much. She has given so much to your lives and you gave so much to her. It was a complete relationship in every way.
I know her memory will live with for the rest of your lives. And I too will remember her with love and respect for being so willing to make the best of every moment throughout her life. Know that she is in at rest.
Much love to you,
Ricki

Sending Marilyn, Dorothy, and Alvin my love. Dear Sharon could not have had a more beloved family whom she adored with all her heart. Sharon was a gift to all who knew her, especially Roger whom she shared so many happy times.
She will be missed but remembered every day by her family and close friends. And by me who knew her mostly from Dorothy and Alvin's rich stories over the years.
Rest in peace, dear Sharon.
Ricki

Dear Sharon: I watched over you when they took off the Bi-Pap mask. I saw your face relax, and your gentle breathing gradually slow down until it just stopped; at last you were free of physical constraints and able to dance away. Keep on dancing, my sweet honey-lamb! But I will miss you dreadfully. Love Dosey.
