Dear Richard & family: More than once your mother's path came across mine since she and I were friends but also we shared a table at the fishing auction, she did flowers for our wedding and she was such a good friend with my friend Brenda Crawford. We could talk about anything and for oh so long. Flowers she could come up with the most unique designs but that was because of her unique character. She could tell me to be tougher when I needed to be or tell me just how gentle I was. I will miss her and unfortunately I did not know she was not well because I have not been in the best of shape this fall/winter and not out that way. I would have loved to have seen her. Memories I remember Ryta's parents very well, living and operating the switchboard at Drummond Centre. Ryta helped me with flowers when my brother Arthur D. Code passed. Her property was formerly Reta Trail's Flower Shop, and that Rita did all my flowers for my wedding in 1958. Loved Ryta's passion for life and we had a few good visits. May she rest in Peace.

That first summer we got married and stayed at Ryta and Richard's house in Perth was alot of fun. Ryta always told it like it was and her honesty and help was appreciated.
