Amy was a beautiful person with such a keen interest in life. Her attempt to make me more functional in speaking German in anticipation of a visit to Austria, was the beginning of a friendship. Driving to "Hort" meetings followed. Even at an advanced age, she volunteered to help with the Junior Gardeners.So giving! It was a priveledge to know Amy and I shall miss her.

I recently realized that my dear friend Amy passed away while I was recovering from a stay in the hospital.,and am feeling much better. Amy was fiercely indpendent,and she called a spade a spade. I was fortunate to have attended a few study courses at St. Paul's with her;over the years. Amy leaves a great legacy for her family,and close friends. I entered Lanark Lodge 7 yrs. ago and regret I had not seen her as much in those years. May God bless her loved ones with special memories.

Over 30 years ago I was a high school student doing summer yard work in the Perth area. My family rented a cottage on the north shore of Otty Lake almost next door to her property every summer and I did some work on Amy's property one year. I still remember her kindness and her warm personality all these years later. My sincere sympathies to her family on your loss.

Otty Lake I will always remember your mother at Otty Lake. She was always out puttering around in nature. All the trees labeled. One day shortly after she came to PCC I stopped to talk to her and we were talking about Otty Lake. She missed her swims. I also had to laugh because she said she always knew what John and I were up too she just never said anything to us. Made me wonder what she really knew about us.
