Parent, Gerard (Gerry) At his home in Smiths Falls, Gerard (Gerry, Pitou) Parent passed away on March 17, 2014 at the age of 69. Born in Grand Falls, NB. Son of Irene (nee Pelletier) and the late Archilles. He is survived by his very best friend Molly Rouse; his children Steven (Cathy) of Barrie, Jacqueline (Brad) McNamara of Fenelon Falls, Gail (Ed) Olah of Burlington and Darren Noftall of Ottawa; sisters and brothers Alphee (Joyce) of Ottawa, Leo (Audrey) of Bracebridge, Cecile of Grand Falls, Gildor of Ottawa, Solange (Rob) Freeman of Whitby, Jean-Guy (Debbie) of Ennismore, Isabelle of Pont-Rouge and Paul of Scarborough, as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 2 to 5 p.m. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Saint Elizabeth Fund.
