Derryl Wayne Allan Closs Jan 4, 1968 – May 20, 2008 After a long courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday may 20 at the Great War Memorial Hospital in Perth, surrounded by his loving family, Derryl in his 40th year, left this world to go home. Derryl was the beloved life long partner and best friend of Wanetta Generoux and beloved father of Joel Closs and Coral Generoux of Perth, Beloved son of Allan and Rosemary Closs of Lanark, loving brother of Marylou sequin of Cornwall, Lisa Stone of Quebec, Denyel McInnes (Stuart) of Hopetown, Allan Closs Jr. of Lanark and Sonya Nichols (Brad) of Lanark, predeceased by brother Joe (1992). Derryl will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews; Jason, Justin and Chantel Vankoughnett, Jennifer and Michael Sequin, Stephanie Stone, Caitlyn and Brandon McInnes, Allana and Brooke closs, Bradly Badour, Jordan and Braiden Nichols. Derryl will also be missed by his extended family, friends and special friends Ab Thompson and Joan Porter of Perth Road. At Derryl’s request cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday May 30th, 2008 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Royal Canadian Legion Lanark.
