Mike and Cathy, very sorry to hear of your loss of your father and my Uncle Paul. So many great memories of Perth, the cottage, and the Madawaska Fishing (Hunt) Camp. Your Dad was always upbeat, happy, and ready to take on any subject for a lively and never boring conversation, and he was always very interested in learning more about our activiities. He adored your mother, loved you both, and was very proud of his grandchildren. Your Father will be missed by us all, no doubt most by you both and his best friend, my Dad Bob. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Cathy and Michael,
We are so very, very sorry to hear about your Dad. Uncle Paul was such a fun, happy, curious about life person. His stories were amazing! As Mark said, your Dad ( and Mom) were so proud of all of you. Throughout the years, we enjoyed and appreciated hearing about how you were doing.
Again, we are so sorry about your Dad's passing.

Dear Michael, Nadine, Cathy and Kevin, and your children and grandchildren
Our most sincere condolences on the loss of your dad and grandfather.
I have so many wonderful memories from my childhood of times spent at "Otty Lake" at the cottage with Uncle Ambrose, Aunt Louise and the boys and especially your dad.
David has kept us posted of your dad's latest health challenges and we are just so sorry after all he went through that he lost his fight to get well again.
As others have said, he and your mom were such a close couple and both so very proud of their children , grandchildren and great grandchildren.
It is never easy to lose one's parents but I hope your wonderful memories will help sustain you in this very difficult time.
Be comforted in knowing that he is with your mom, brothers and grandparents again (as well as my parents) who loved him dearly.
We will be at the funeral Wed.
Much love,
Jo-Ann

Mike and Cathy and families.. I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. I too know the pain of this type of loss. Your dad's laughter back in the day when I went to visit Uncle Ambrose and Aunt Louise is forever etched in my memory. I leave you with these words of comfort in the coming days "Perhaps they are not stars In the sky afterall but rather openings where our loved ones look down to let us know they are alright"

Dear Cathy & Mike,
We had the privilege of driving to Mona & Bob's 50th anniversary celebration with Shirley and Paul. Your Dad kept us entertained during the whole trip. Shirley just smiled and laughed with him.It was a delightful trip to Michigan. They were a gracious and welcoming couple when we went to a P.C.I. reunion. That lovely smiling picture of Paul says it all. We will miss hearing of his frequent phone calls to my brother Bob. I know that Paul was disappointed that I was not an Ottawa Senators fan. We had several amicable arguments over hockey. Paul loved you all with great pride. We will miss him.

Hi Mike & Kathy, spouses and your children.
Forgive my tardiness in expressing my sympathy on the loss of your Dad. It has been a long time since I have seen him, but I remember him well. I meant to attend the wake, but the weather was forbidding. You will miss him, but our parents are never far from mind, and always close in heart. Take care. Dianne
