Brown, Thomas David It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Tom on Saturday, January 17th 2015, at the age of 62 years. Tom was the cherished husband of Sue for 20 years. He was a loving father to Khristopher (Shannon) and Mindy (Adam), and recently acquired the treasured position of grandfather to Zoe. His passing will be deeply felt. Tom will be sadly missed by his brothers Shawn (Julie), Lyall (Greta), Darrell (Kelly) Martin (Debbie) and his nephew, many nieces, godchildren and extended family. Tom was predeceased by his parents Hazel Westbrooke and Lyfred Brown. Tom was known for his great strength and integrity. He was a hard working person that took pride in his work and in providing a good life for his two children. There were many challenges along the way but throughout it all, Kris and Mindy were priority number one. Family was extremely important to Tom. Life was lived, and his friends were many in the Dwyer Hill community of loving and caring people. Tom took a great deal of pride in his profession as a high voltage electrician. He worked on high profile projects all over eastern Ontario and western Quebec until his retirement in 2011. A funeral mass to honour and remember Tom will be held at St. Clare's Roman Catholic Church, 4001 Dwyer Hill Rd., Dwyer Hill, On., on Saturday, January 24th at 2:00, to be followed by a reception at the church hall.
