To all my McParland cousins, we would like to extend our deepest sympathies on your loss of your mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful lady who I enjoyed talking to whenever I had the chance and she had such stories about her brother "Bobbie" lol. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Many of the memories that I treasure growing up included Gert, John and the entire McParland family. She will always be the spitfire who never shied away from a challenge. A true spirit with a warm heart who always treated me as one of her own. She became and always will be an important part of our family. Unfortunately the weather is preventing me from being there but please accept my deepest condolences and know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Firstly, we want to offer our heartfelt condolences to all of you at the death of your Mother. We understand the pain of the loss of someone who has meant so much to you. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Secondly, we are disappointed that we cannot be with you for the visitation and funeral, to share some hugs and the many good memories. Tom had surgery on Thursday to repair a torn tendon in his rotator cuff - he has to wear a large sling and the 4 hour drive in winter conditions - along with the clothing challenges make this impossible.
Thanks for your understanding - for sure we would rather be there with you guys.

My condolences to all of the McParland family on the loss of your mother. My childhood memories of her are of her always working in the kitchen. I remember many happy times at her place in the winter when Steve, Mike, and I would dig tunnels in the snowbanks. She was always welcoming. I had planned on visiting with all of you at the wake, but due to the weather I was unable to.
