Pam, it's hard to say what you want to say at a difficult time. I think Bob and I had a good connection from day one and I was very fortunate to have Bob in Honeysuckle Haven. When a Health Care worker first hears information regarding a new resident and in Bob's case I wasn't sure if he would do well in Honeysuckle Haven. Boy was I wrong about Bob's dementia. Bob had a way to tell us things through his eyes and smile and he taught me about equality. I will truly miss Bob and his smile.

We will always remember Bob! He struck a very unique balance in life: scholar; professional; hobbyist; and nature lover to name only a few. Above all though, we remember Bob as a friend and remarkably amiable human being. May he "rest in peace". Our condolences Pam, your pairing with Bob was a blessing and your care in these last few years was noted and admired!

As a volunteer at Lanark Lodge, I only knew Bob when he was unable to speak, but his wonderful smile spoke volumes. He is already missed. My condolences to his family.

Dear Pam, Please accept my condolences for your loss. I did not have the opportunity to meet Bob, since I have only recently been involved with the local Green Party and other environmental groups in the Perth area. I can understand the difficult and stressful time you have had over the past couple of years. Hence, I must say that I admire your dedication to both Bob and the Green Party, as shown by your ability to continue both activities at the same time. Sincerely, Peter.

Pam, I wanted to recognize all the great times Bob and Dad (RK) spent together in Ottawa while working at the Survey, both in the geochron lab and in the field collecting samples. And the times our family spent with Bob, in Ottawa and boating on the Rideau, when Rob and I were growing up. As a very young girl, I was always amazed by the Aussie accent! I am so glad that you both were able to come to Dad's 90th birthday party a few years ago, so I could see Bob again, and also meet you.
