Barker, Shirley Anne (Norris) Shirley passed away peacefully with her family at her side in hospital in Perth on Wednesday, March 11th, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Ralph Gordon Barker Q.C. Remembered with love by her daughter Trudy and her husband Dan McCormick, her grandson Michael McCormick, and her grandchildren Catherine and Richard McCormick. She was predeceased by her parents Tom and Gertrude (Huff) Norris, and her brother Thomas Norris. Shirley was a strong believer in the value of education, and in her career taught at high schools in Brantford, Perth and Smiths Falls, Ontario. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15, Gore St. W., Perth on Saturday, March 14th, 2015 from 12 noon until 12:30 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be joining her late husband in Atikokan, Ontario at a later date. In remembrance of Shirley, contributions to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation, Perth would be appreciated.
