How lucky I am to have gotten to know and care for Bev in only 8 months. She became a very big part of my life in that time. My role as her "caregiver" was to provide her with the best possible care I could, but our relationship grew to be much more then just that. Bev and I became very close and often times I found her to be just as caring for me. I always made little jokes about myself in which she would tell me, "You are fine just the way you are." I found myself on multiple occasions dancing to Michael Buble- "You will never find" just for the pleasure of seeing her smile and laugh while agreeing with me that I was not the best dancer.
Bev, we spent many days laughing, smiling, crying, singing, snoring, snuggling, and those moments will be very missed. You will be very missed. And I'm truly greatful to your family and you for allowing me to be apart of your life. I know you are sitting up there thinking "Oh shut up Krissy" (her favourite line when I would annoy her, haha).
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. So please don't take, my sunshine away." Our favourite duet.
Until we meet again,
All my love, Krissy. Xo

How fortunate for us to make new friends late in life. Bev and Bob moved in around the corner, so easy to get together for dinner and games of Sequence. Bev and I enjoyed our shopping trips together and also some lively bridge games. Politics aside, we became good friends and as disease ravaged Bev, I was devastated. I will remember her cheerful face and the good times we shared. Our condolences to Bob and family..
Love from us here in Portugal.

Wishing you all the best Bob, Beth and family. I have really fond memories of working away in the garden at Rideau Lake with Bev's awesome singing as my soundtrack. It really was an honour to have known such a special woman.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. Bev was very special to me, I have many special memories of laughter and even more memories of her personal kindness. Her generosity and big heart meant the world to me. We shared a love of dogs and that meant a lot to Bev. Always in my memories and will never be forgotten. Rest in peace lovely lady.
