Dowdall, Kenneth G. Suddenly at Snow Road where he loved to be, on Thursday, May 7th, 2015 Kenneth George Dowdall in his 76th year. Cherished husband of Sharon (Millar) for 52 years. Dear father and friend of Steve (Tamara Woods), Todd (Cindy Walker), and Brad (Connie Miller). Loving and loved grandfather of Kyle, Adam, Collin, Braden and Maddison Dowdall and Eli and Aiden Woods. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Peg (Balfour) Dowdall, his sister Jean Laing and brother Jack Dowdall. He is survived by his brother-in-law Dave Laing and his sisters Joan (late Del) Harper, Shirley (Jack) Mackler, Eleanor (late Glenn) Saunders; brother in law Bob (Lois) Millar and sister-in-law Joanne (late Jim) Izatt, numerous nieces, nephews and their families and many good friends and neighbours. Kenneth was a gentle man, quiet and thoughtful with a subtle sense of humor. He was retired 22 years following 35 years with Ontario Hydro Forestry Division. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Sunday, May 10th, 2015 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 10:00 A.M. Interment, Crawford Cemetery, McDonald's Corners. In remembrance, contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Perth or the Lavant, Dalhousie and North Sherbrooke Fire Department would be appreciated.
