Mather, Rhoda Jane (McGinnis) Rhoda passed away peacefully in hospital in Perth on Sunday, May 24th, 2015 at the age of 85 years. Rhoda served as Lanark Township Clerk from 1973 until 1991. She was predeceased in 2005 following 59 years of marriage by her beloved husband Ivan Mather. Loved mother of Harold (Darlene), Sandra Drew and Anneth Mather (Andrews-Cameron). Rhoda is survived and will be missed by her 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, her sister Mary Day and brother Gilbert McGinnis. Predeceased by brothers Harold, Mac, Mel and Bill McGinnis, sister Lil Casey and her sons-in-law Eian Drew, Bob Andrews and Ray Cameron and granddaughter Rachel. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair and Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Tuesday, May 26th, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery, Middleville. In remembrance contribution to Greenwood Cemetery or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
