Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this very difficult time. Yarrow always encouraged me to be grateful for the little things and not to sweat the small stuff as she faced her courageous battle. Her shining smile and positive attitude always made her a joy to work with. Her boys are her whole world and she always had giggles when sharing their antics! I will miss her kindness, caring and non judgemental attitude which made patients love her and very cherished by our team. Know if you need ANYTHING that we are here for you and your entire family. Please comfort yourself with the blanket of love that surrounds you now and always. Yarrow will never be truly gone as I know she will be watching over each of you , her children and Aspen's baby. Know that I was enriched by Yarrow's presence in the world and I will never forget her. Sending love, light and prayers to your family now and always.
God bless

Dear John, Marty, Brooke and Yarrow's boys!
I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter, wife, and mother. I will still remember the day that Brooke (one of my favourite students!) told me that he and Yarrow were expecting twins! The joy on your face Brooke was amazing! And I remember that you were a little uneasy and nervous... Rightly so. However, what you didn't know was how much those boys and the family that came with them would help you through this most difficult time. I think Yarrow knew that these boys would be there for you, just as they will be for John and Marty. Please know that I am thinking of you all. Deanne Strong

It was with great saddness and a shock when we read about Yarrow's Passing. We can only remember her as sitting on a seat at Calabogie waiting for one of you to do up her boots.
A friend our ours who is a minister said at a recent service, that it is very hard to express you feelings to the loved ones, but a hug lets them know that you are thinking of them at this time of sorrow.
So from both of us to you and your familiess, here is the HUG.

Dear Martha & John,
Both our hearts are filled with sadness at this time. Please accept our deepest sympathy, and know that our thoughts are with you and your family. In thinking about your loss, we came across the words of the poet, Ellen Brenneman. "We can't know why the lily has so brief a time to bloom in the warmth of sunlight's kiss upon its face before it folds into its fragrance and bids the world goodnight to rest its beauty in a gentler place, But we can know that nothing that is loved is ever lost and no one who has touched a heart can really pass away because some beauty lingers on in each memory of which they have been a part."
Sincere and heartfelt sympathy,

We can't know what you are going through but want you to know that we are feeling for you at this time. Though we have not seen Yarrow grow up, we remember her as just a little baby. She has both Marti and John in her so it seems, and the best of both. She seemed to pack so much in to her life and definitely left her mark in this world, a superstar in her own right. This is a tribute to parents and family. Though you wanted her to stay forever, she left some precious little ones to hug and to hold and think of her always. We are so sorry for your loss Marti and John and family, though words are never enough in these situations. Our thoughts are surely with you.

Just wanted to leave a message that I'm so sorry for your loss. I grew up just around the corner from Aspen and Yarrow and would play with/babysit them from time to time. I had heard that Yarrow was sick and it made me very sad. So unfair. Today, I ran into Yarrow's mom in Stittsville at the boys school. She told me Yarrow had passed away and it touched close to home. Wishing you and your family peace and healing.

Dear Family of Yarrow Marie Viets,
I am writing to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your loved one.
You can be assured that comfort and hope are found in the pages of the Bible.
The bible book of Revelations 21:4 speaks of this hope for the future, for all who deal with grief :
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes,
and death will be no more,
neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
The former things have passed away.”
I hope these promises from GOD will bring a measure of comfort, please keep those memories of your loved one close.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Sandi Watkins
