Please accept our sincere sympathy for the loss of your Dad. We have lived in Glentay for 37 years and Nick was a great neighbor. He always had a big smile on his face and a joke to tell. We have missed seeing him sitting in the porch for the last few years as he always had a big wave for you going by. May your memories help you in this difficult time. He used to tell us Doreen was his best girl, and now they are together again. Sincerely

Doug, Darlene and families: Sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. We go away back when I was a child and my great aunt Pearl and Bert Chaplin lived right across the road. They were the best of friends/neighbours. I remember as a little girl going across the road with my Mom for a visit with your Mom and Dad, Doug. Every time I go past, I always to this day think of the times we visited. Lots of red tomatoes in the garden as I drove by today. He was a great gardener.
