I was saddened to hear of Julie's passing but I know she had managed to surpass CF's lifespan and live for 42 years. Julie went to Fleming in the Business Administration Information Systems program and I got to know her quite well and work with her on projects.
We lost touch after graduation as she returned to her hometown. I do remember getting to meet you Carmel at Julie's apartment when you unexpectedly showed up and scared the life out of me when you opened the door to let me in. Julie was laughing so hard in the background.
I hope that the good times and memories you each shared with Julie will help to comfort you during this time of sadness. Julie was a real trooper and a great person. God has one more special angel in Heaven and I know Julie will watch over all of you especially Dougie.

Julie's smile
<p>
I can still see Julie's smile from her Girl Guide days. Her smile was infectious. She was always happy, even when she had to sit on the sideline of the activies while she would be getting her physio treatments. I enjoyed having her as part of our group.</p>
<p>
When I again had contact with Julie, as an adult, she still had that smile on her face all the time. This time my connection with Julie was when she enroled Dougie in our day care centre. He is a lucky boy to have had her a part of his life.She will be missed by everyone who's life she touched.</p>
