We are shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of this great and wonderful man. We spent many years at Palmerston Lake Campground and enjoyed Al and Siid's company , friendship and many kindnesses. He was a remarkable man , filled with love, energy and generosity. He brought joy to everyone who was blessed by his company. Our prayers are with Sid and his family.

We are just so shocked and saddened to read about Al's sudden passing. What a great guy and we will sure miss him coming into the Hill General Store for his Ottawa Citizen. Al was always so kind to ask about my brother Dale and here he is gone not long after. You will all miss him terribly. Our family is sad that your husband, friend and soulmate has passed. Al was a wonderful man, handsome with a twinkle in his eye when he laughed and he always had a smile! Our families were very close through the years, camping and fishing at Redhorse lake when the kids were young. Those were the best of times! As the years passed our friendship with you and Al never wavered and we enjoyed many fun visits to Ompah, for fishing and snowmobiling.
Please know that we love you and will always be there for you, whatever you need!
