Bob was the cheeriest and greatest bus driver ever when he took Kay MacNaughton, Claudette Wright, me, and the Grade 8 class from Maple Grove School to Montreal and Quebec City on a class trip in the late 1980's. It took real driving & manoeuvring talent to get into he old section of Quebec City. It's been a long time, but I will never forget him. He was one of a kind. My sincere condolences to all of his family.

We are so sad to hear of the passing of a very good Friend from the Maple Grove Days. There were many wonderful trips to Quebec and Toronto with the Grade 8 Classes. We remember so well Bobby driving the MacNaughton "Wedding Bus" to Wally & Cathy's wedding in Oakville, and joining the Clan at the dinner/reception.
So many memories - rest in peace, our Friend.

So saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Such a great man, always smiling & laughing, always helpful. I keep telling people how good things were in the "olden days" when he managed the bus line. When any new family registered at school I just called Bob, gave him the address, and he would know who owned the place previously and exactly what bus travelled that road and the child would be on the bus right that day. He knew everyone in the country and was loved and respected by all. Such a loss. RIP Bob.

Dear Marilyn and family,
Bob was one of the good guys. He always came and talked with me when Terry and Craig Campbell were coaching Connor, back in the days when hockey was fun. Bobby went a long way to make everything fun for the kids. I never heard him say a bad word about anyone. He was truly a special person and I know that myself and my family will never forget him. We will be thinking of all of you. God bless.
