Chaplin, John Albert Peacefully, in hospital in Perth, on Thursday September 4th, 2008 John A. Chaplin (former Reeve of Bathurst Township, former Warden of Lanark County and co-owner of the former Chaplin's Dairy) in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Orpha Korry. Dearly loved father of Gordon (Cathy) Chaplin and Brenda (Ken) Gutoske. Cherished grandfather of Amanda (Alex) Dejanovic, Darin (Hayley) Chaplin, Brad (Annamarie) Gutoske and Ryan Gutoske (Erin MacDonald). Special Papa of Tate and Max Dejanovic and Addison Chaplin. Dear brother of Cameron (late Betty) Chaplin, Betty (late Howard) McGregor, Wynne (Al) Chaffee, the late Helen (O'Gorman) Code, the late Gordon (late Lorna) Chaplin and brother-in-law of Doris (late Donald) Chaplin. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Sunday September 7th from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Paul's United Church, Perth on Monday at 11:00 A.M. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation or St. Paul's United Church would be appreciated. A Masonic service of remembrance will be held Sunday at 6:45 P.M.
