I met Sue at McMartin House where she attended one of our groups. She was a lovely person, always smiling and very friendly. We will miss her greatly.

It is with shock and sadness that I read about Sue's passing. I had never met Sue until I worked on the World Day of Prayer Committee with her in 2014. Sue chaired the meetings and organized the service with a genuine warmth and compassion. The service was so well organized. She was fun and down to business. I gained knowledge and wisdom from this amazing lady. God has gained an angel. I feel blessed to have known her. Sincere sympathy to Sue's family and friends. Blessings, Mary

I remember Sue from Christian Women's Club and remember being impressed with her Christian being. She had a heart for those less fortunate. One day she brought a needy woman to my home to live and was so helpful in tending to this woman's needs with me as time went on. Perth and St. Johns has lost a gem of a Christian and I was blessed to have been a part of her gracious charitable acts.

I had the opportunity to work with Sue at Lanark Lodge. Her gentle spirit, love for people and joy for life was evident in all she did. Our path's crossed again during her years working at Rideau Ferry Country Home. Once again it was clear that her faith was instrumental in her ability to find joy in the most difficult of situations. May she enjoy the presence of the Lord she so faithfully served.

We had so many wonderful laughs at Lanark Lodge working together and with her Mom Mary and then I reconnected with her when my Uncle Gordon moved in across the road. What a dear and wonderful person. Is with great sadness that we heard of Sue's death. We will always remember the time that one of her garbage bag with freshly wash clothing in it was taken by the dump truck. She was in a frantic finally she chased down the dump truck and got it back. Sue was always ray of sunshine. Prayers and thoughts to the family
