Tom was an icon among his peers and a leader in his family. Over the years, Michael and I watched from a short distance - as we all commonly do - watched life dole out its challenges and changes for this great friend. We watched how he fended for his family, watched over them so very diligently. Also his friends. We watched as he taught us all to laugh at ourselves and to care for all living things.
Alas, God decided to make an unalterable change and took Tom far too soon from his family and friends. But this change only set in motion the joining of friends and family once again in Heaven. Let's celebrate his life for he lived an honest and true one and let us pray that his spirit lives on in his sons and grandchildren. God bless you all.

I was saddened to hear of Tom’s passing. Tom was a great guy, thoughtful, funny, engaging and kind; attributes that we’d "all” like to have. While it’s been a good many years since we’ve seen each other, Tom was amongst the many good people that came and went from RRC.
Clearly, there are no quick fixes and/or simple anecdotes that make the passing seem easy but knowing that Tom took such pride and satisfaction in his family should help to ease the pain somewhat.
I am sorry that I am unable to attend the service but trust that my thoughts are with you and your family during this tough time.
