I was so shock to hear of the passing of my new friend and moose hunting buddy.
In the very short time I've known Gary he was a very sincere caring and compassionate man.
I was privileged to be accepted into his moose hunting gang this past moose hunt hunting season in Quebec on Trout Lake.
As a new comer in the gang Gary made me feel very welcome.
A couple of afternoons we exchanged stories, etc.
I know besides myself along with the two other cabin members, his son in-law Steve and Bruce we were all very fortunate and appreciated returning to a warm cabin and the aroma of supper cooking.
Gary was always humble accepting our compliments.(A sincere Gentleman)
I especially enjoyed his wife's war bread/raisin bread that Gary shared with his co-hunters and e-mailed me the recipe which today Mary and I are both enjoying.
Please accept our sincere sympathy of your loss of Gary. I'm so very, very sorry!
He will always be remembered and missed by all.
Sincerely,
Vic & Mary Hoggarth
