To Susan,Francine,Jim,Angela,Jennifer and Families;
May we extend our sincere heart felt sympathy to each of you during this difficult time. You have many wonderful memories of your Mother and Grandmother. Know that others have fond memories as well. One of the many, often recalled, is of individuals gathered in the kitchen on numerous occassions often partaking in song...we knew it was serious when...Rose would take to standing on the nearest chair or table top... to direct & lead the group in "Allouette"..... may you all, continue to sing for her.... know that she is lovingly remembered by many....Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you, love Derwyn, Judie & Abby

We are saddened after learning about Aunt Rose's passing. Many memories of big meals, and loud songs come to mind when thinking about our holidays and celebrations. I have so many memories of the parties at Grandma Dumais' house, at the cottages we rented, and also in Perth. Aunt Rose always made sure we were well-fed and well-watered. Of course, there are the moments when Dad and Rose would stand up to sing family favourites, like "The Penetang Song", and "The Shanghai Rooster". I am sure she is standing on a picnic table with a glass in her hand - making the angels laugh.
