Thomson, Barbara Hyacinth (nee Bennett) September 11, 1920 ~ November 30, 2008 Peacefully with her family by her side at the Perth Community Care Centre on Sunday November 30, 2008. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Grant Thomson of Stanleyville (1991), loving mother of Douglas (Sharon) of Perth, and Grant Jr. "Sandy” (Karen) of Smiths Falls, loving grandmother of Sean and Scott Thomson, Danielle Fleming (Derek), Chantal Wright and Andrew Roberts (Lori) and loving great grandmother of all her great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her brother Peter Bennett (Peggy) of Westport. Barbara was predeceased by her infant daughter Barbara Lee, son Laurie, sister Eileen Furlong (Francis), Brenda Bennett (Alphonse). Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W, Perth on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Bridget’s Church, Stanleyville on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. Interment, St. Bridget’s Parish Cemetery, Stanleyville. In remembrance, contributions to St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church, Stanleyville or the Perth Community Care Centre Employee Fund would be appreciated.
