Obituary of Howie Reynolds

Reynolds, W. Howie Peacefully in hospital, Smiths Falls on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008. Howie was retired Credit Manager of Rideau Regional Centre and the Brockville Psychiatric Hospital. He was a Veteran of WWII and member of Branch 95 of the Royal Canadian Legion, Smiths Falls. Past President of the Smiths Falls Rotary Club and recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship. Howie was as a founder and director of the Smiths Falls Railway Museum and was named Smiths Falls Citizen of the Year in 1993. He will be sadly missed by his cherished wife Jeanne, his step-daughter Heather (Chris) Moulton and their daughter Chelsea, step-son Scott (Louise) Hill; his son Doug Reynolds and daughter Pam Pike; his grandchildren Rebecca and Katie; his great-grandchildren Joshua and Cameron; his brother E.J. (Freda), Garnet (Georgia-Lynn), Mel (Lillian) Reynolds and their families. He will be fondly remembered by his many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Friday, December 5th, 2008 from 6 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at Trinity United Church, Smiths Falls on Saturday at 5 o'clock. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Rotary Club of Smiths Falls Service Fund or the Smiths Falls Railway Museum.
