My sympathy goes out to you , Gloria, and all your family in the sudden loss of dear Clayton. I met him only a short time ago when he became my daughters neighbor. He was a very sweet man and was so nice to them. They adored him and I had the pleasure of spending some time with him as well. In spite of it being difficult for him to get around he still was happy and thoughtful. Rest in peace Clayton, we love you.

When sorrow comes into our lives
and tears of sadness fall,
they never go unnoticed,
God sees them one and all.
Our tears are very precious
In the eyes of our dear Lord,
He calls them up to special clouds
where they are safely stored.
When these clouds are heavy laden
from the weight which they contain,
moisture falls upon to the earth,
and our tears come down as rain.
Then when the rain has ended,
look to the sky above.
and when you see a rainbow
God is sending us His love.
He knows we all face sorrow,
and He knows we all feel pain.
That's why He sends a rainbow
after every tear filled rain.
Teardrops And Rainbows
I know uncle Clayton was misunderstood, however I had complete respect for who he was, I recall speaking to him over the phone for hours on many occasions, I miss our talks...though my only regret is not taking more time to be there for him, he always thought of me as the daughter he never had but always wanted, I send my comfort and sympathies to his siblings.
Rest in Peace...uncle Clayton

i always enjoyed hearing the wonderful and humourous stories Clayton shared with me. He seemed very proud of the quilts he would crochet and his happiness sharing them with others. He had the ability to "embellish" stories to make them sound more appealing and keep the listeners engaged. I always liked his stories. He kept me very entertained.
Condolences to his entire family and to all of his friends.

I was quite taken back when I heard the news of Clayton passing.
I am pleased that on Monday we had quite a chat re the old days at Lanark Lodge. YES, he talked about walking with
certain residents and about crocheting his many quilts.
I am so pleased to have had the chance so recently to enjoy our chat. Sincerely, Roberta Buchanan

so sorry to hear of Clayton's passing, both Mick and I were shocked as we had just seen him not too long ago on his mission to get what he needed uptown. this was a part of his life and he became like a fixture in his scooter and it seemed he would always be a part of the uptown crowd. He was a gentle soft spoken man and had a quick wit about him. Our sympathy goes out to all his family at this sad time, lets remember that memory is one gift from God that death cannot destroy.

It is with sadness that I heard of Clayton's passing. I visited him often servicing his mobility equipment. I appreciated his straight forward way of communicating, I also appreciated his positive way of dealing with the challenges he faced. I also enjoy a lovely crocheted afghan
we received from him. Knowing Clayton was a pleasure. I will miss my visits.

I was very sorry to hear of Clayton's passing. Although I did not have the opportunity to work with Clayton directly at Lanark Lodge, I did get the opportunity to get to know him through his visits to the Lodge and seeing him out in Perth on his scooter on a regular basis.
Clayton would stop in to the Lodge a couple of times a year to visit residents that he knew and to connect with colleagues and friends. It was always great to catch up with Clayton, he spoke of the friendships that he made at the Lodge, stories of his work and the times that he spent with the residents. He had a number of residents that he was close to, he was always happy to be a friendly visitor to them and share his stories which brought a smile to their face. .
I learned not only through Clayton of the crochet work that he did but also through staff and residents that had been gifted a blanket. You knew that if you had been gifted a blanket that you were highly regarded by him. In speaking with staff since Clayton's passing, they will cherish their memories of him and the gifts of crochet work that he shared.
May he rest in peace. We thank him for his years of dedication to Lanark Lodge. He will be missed!

My deepest sympathy is extended to Clayton's family and friends on his sudden passing.
It was just over a week since I was talking to him in front of one of his favourite spots, Tim Horton's. I worked with Clayton for many years at Lanark Lodge and shared many interesting stories. And, I am proud to say received a couple of his handmade blankets.
There will never be another Clayton Gogo, and he will be missed.
