Very sorry to hear of Ron's passing. Ron was someone I always looked forward to going to work with, usually the Chalk River wayfreight or some other choice assignment.
He was a railroader through and through, not just someone who worked on the railroad. Will remember the great conversations (especially about the rough riders) and the pipe smoke.
My condolences to you all,
tony

Sandy (Gary) and Kathy; please accept our condolences on the passing of your father; and a really good guy. I enjoyed going to the Ottawa football games on the little school bus; with our first stop being Franktown. Fridays at the shop will not be the same; we will miss Ronnie's ball and hockey stories from the "good old days." While Ronnie was taken far too soon; he loved life, and he lived life to the fullest. Like all his family and friends, I will miss Ronnie.

Sandy & Kathy and Family - I am so sorry to hear about Ronnie's passing. He was an amazing guy. He was caring, funny and loyal! I'm sure the party in heaven is still rockin'! I know next time I hear a Sportsman's Show commercial I will wonder why I don't get my annual phone call. I'll miss the stories. We've all heard them numerous times, some more than others, but it helps us to keep our memories alive. Now they will be in our hearts. I'm sorry I can't join you all today, but know my thoughts and prayers are with you all!

I was saddened to hear about your Dad and I know he will be missed by all. I'm sure my Mom was waiting for him to come and join them for a poker game. Lynne just sent me an email to let me know how wonderful the service was and how beautiful to have it at his "camp". My thoughts are will you all.
