As a long time volunteer at Lanark Lodge, I became very fond of Ron. His voice contributed greatly to our weekly sing-alongs, and his smile and keen sense of humour were infectious.
My most sincere condolences to Ron's family who were lucky enough to know and love this wonderful gentleman.

We will miss Ron- he was SO much fun- an inveterate teaser. He always had kids fascinated with his tricks and teases. Especially remember him with the family at Norway Bay.
So glad he lived a long, happy life travelling/working with Dorothy- raising Heather and Glen in Ottawa, whom I babysat.
Glad to go out for dinner with him and Heather and John in July, 2014, and he was just the same as always!
Sadly, Larry and I will not be able to be there for his service, but we left a memory of him at the GWM and Lanark Lodge.
Sincerely,
L&L

true love
When Dorry came to live with us at anark Lodge Ron became a fixture. When he would leave he would never say goodbye. He told me people who love each other don't say goodbye they say see you soon. That stuck with me and I use that line frequently now.
