Dear Nancy and Jack McTavish,
Please accept my condolences in the passing of your Mom. She was truly a wonderful lady and conducted her entire life with such dignity. What a true and lasting friendship she and my Mom had and we always appreciated how she was able to encourage Mom to go to card parties, etc.! Mom, Dad, and your Mom and Dad will now be able to continue those card games!! Jean and I stopped in around Christmas but we did not feel she knew us. She is now at peace. Hoping you and all your family can find comfort and healing in all your beautiful memories.
Sent with love from Texas.

Wayne and I send our deepest sympathy to all the family on the death of your mother. She was a very special lady and she and my Mom (Martha Purdon) were wonderful friends. They were such support to each other after the sudden deaths of Dad and Harry and did many shopping trips and played many hands of cards together! Losing a mother is very difficult, but our hopes are that you will cherish the wonderful memories made during her long life.

So many first without you, but Christmas is the hardest... It's just not the same without you here. We went to church Christmas eve and all I did was cry thinking of all the Christmas eves we spent with you at St Pauls. Most of all I just miss our time together, whether it was attending Friday afternoon sing songs at Lanark Lodge, the concerts in the auditorium, or just sitting beside you holding your hand.
Miss you so much...
