While Tammy visited us here in Nova Scotia years ago, our son Michael took her on a sailboat ride. She was grinning from ear to ear and so excited to go. Afterwards Tammy said it was her first time out in a boat and so happy for the experience! That's how I will always remember her... smiling, grateful and full of life.

Tammy was a wonderful and beautiful woman in every way - I have so many wonderful memories as do my girls as she not only was their Brownie leader, but she picked them up and brought them home from Brownies. The Rideauettes and Dance Connection were so blessed to have her as she sewed the most extravagantly beautiful costumes. At an International Showstoppers competition in New York the costume worn by Tammy's and my daughter for Locomotion - Kerri-Lee and Laura - won best costume for the show - Tammy was rightfully proud as was the whole studio. She was an awesome nurse as I can certainly attest to, having worked with her for so many years. As an inspiration to others when adversity struck she was courageous and strong in her resolve to live despite the challenges. She was undaunted by the diagnosis and her determination was incredible. Rest in peace Tammy - there is a very special place in heaven for you.
