Dear Gary, Tatiana, Maya, and Eric,
I send you my deepest condolences on the loss of your wonderful Wife and Mother, Laurielle, on Sunday.
Your beautiful Laurielle, she of the 1000 watt smile, is gone from this mortal coil far too soon. You, and all who were privileged to know her will celebrate having had her touch our lives and brighten them all.
Laurielle fought an amazing, courageous battle for almost eleven years against the ovarian cancer that took her life. What a sterling example she left us all for how to deal with adversity. She was an inspiration to my Heather, who lost her similar ten year struggle earlier this year.
Heather and I were privileged to become your friends at the Kingston Cancer Centre, and we cherished the many times we spent together. God bless you Laurielle. You and Heather will certainly brighten the Good Lord's heavenly host.
Thank you for having made our lives better with your loving presence.

Dear, dear Gary,
Though ee know Laurielle had health struggles for many years, it is a surprise to lose such a gorgeous and vibrant person. Laurielle and Gary were friends when we had none, as new residents of Bonn, Germany. We can still see Laurielle walking down the Rhein path, beautifully coiffed, and exercising her beloved fluffy, white dogs. She looked like a picture from a fashion magazine. She was and will remain such a light, as lovely on the inside as the outside.
