Cherished father of Denise (Kevin) Johnston of Schelt, BC and Derek (Wendy) Rathwell of Vancouver, BC. Loved step-father of Linda Grey, Jane Smyth, Edward McKenney and Mark McKenney. Much loved grandfather of Kelsey (Jordan) McKellar, Stacey and Dayna Johnston, Ashlyn Ann Rathwell, Andre Rathwell and much loved step-grandfather of Nicole Grey, Rachel and Mallory Smyth, William and Gabriel McKenney and Jillian Ruth McKenney. Loving brother of Edythe (Arthur) Miller, Lillian (Robert) Weekes, Elaine (Gary) McCabe all of Kingston. Predeceased by brother Melvin Rathwell. Brother-in-law of Anne Rathwell of Kingston. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, on Sunday, March 15, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date.
