I was blessed to teach Kyrie in grade 12 religion, and work with her on social justice activities. She cared so deeply about others and about God. I leave for the Cuernavaca trip tomorrow with ten students, inspired by all that Kyrie shared about her experience there. We are so sorry to miss the wake and funeral, but we will remember Kyrie there. Kyrie clearly understood that the only way to reach out to God is through reaching out to others. The love and compassion she shared will endure forever. Goodness is eternal, and Kyrie lived goodness, hope, kindness and love. If you knew her, you could not help but love her. My heart goes out to her family. She was and is a blessing. My sincere condolences to Susan, Lindsay, Rob and all who knew Kyrie.

Kyrie, we're really going to miss you at school. I didn't know you very well, but what I do know is that you were a nice, sunny person who was always a joy to talk to. I wish we could have gotten more time to get to know each other. Rest In Peace, I know you will be greatly missed by myself and many, many others.
