My Friend
I don't have so much of a story, but rather a bunch of lovely memories of Annie.
I got to know Annie more over the years when she was in Rideau Ferry. I would go over and chat with her- and got to hear a fresh take on life - from Annie's perspective :-). She would often catch things happening around the room and have a quick witted remark that would have us laughing till we had tears! Annie was quiet, but could also let her voice be heard. I visited her a few times and enjoyed working on puzzles with her at tables. Annie had a great laugh, beautiful blue eyes, a sweet smile and gorgeous hair. I was thrilled when a worker took notice of her hair and began to make works of art with it- Annie would show up with beautiful intricate braids that showed off her natural beauty! Over the years, Annie encouraged me, inspired me and made me grateful. I'm glad she is finally with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and I know we will be together again soon!
