Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your Dad. Many times I watched your Dad walking around the barn yard as the school bus stopped to pick up the Barrie kids. One summer day Mr Barrie was driving his tractor past Ferguson’s crab-apple tree. A certain young Easton lad was throwing apples at the tractor and then quickly hid, leaving me like "a sitting duck in the tree” to take a scolding, when that tractor stopped. Mr Barrie has a grin on his face as he drove off, knowing full well who the real culprit was. I hope you all have many happy memories of times spent with your Dad to share as family and friends gather to pay their respects.
Respectfully Betty and Family
