My sincere condolences to the Carson and Brankin families. I knew the Brankin’s well; John senior bought the plumbing business from my Dad. Growing up in Perth you knew most people but I hung out with Sue and MaryAnn in my early teens. Well at least until Sue and Johnny became an "item.” Sue only had eyes for Johnny and Johnny only had eyes for Sue. I think a car could have hit the house and they would not have noticed – unless it was a GTO or Charger then Johnny might have glanced away for a moment. The hockey rink kept them apart a few hours a week but Sue would be in the bleachers watching and cheering Johnny on. MaryAnn shared a room in the Brankin home with Sue but she probably felt she had to also share it with Johnny after the love-struck sweet hearts became inseparable. Returning to Perth also meant returning to the Royal Bank where Sue would always greet me with a big smile, ask about Mom and tell me about her boys, grand boys and finally Gemma a "pink one.” Her passing will leave a very large hole in two families and in the hearts of many. Cathy Hansen

To all the Brankin and Carson family,
From Mary Lou and Guy, we have been deeply affected by the recent news of Susans' Passing, both Shock and sadness are only two of the emotions we both feel when we think of where susan was in her life and ready to enjoy a full life in retirement with the man she loved and had been with for so long t. She should be watching her grandchildren grow up and enjoying the fruits of all they created in a happy and well deserved retirement . Such was not the ending of the story, that is the real tradegy that she was so close to everyone, helped everyone she could and now she is gone too Soon .....Goodbye Sue, Love Mom and Guy

My Deepest Sympathies to the Carson & Brankin families on Susan's untimely passing. She was so looking forward to her Retirement - we certainly had no idea things would work out like this. I have been with RBC for 38 years, and Susan was truly a RBC Ambassador and treated everyone the way she would like to be treated. She always made room for Family and Friends alike, enjoying her Bike rides and the Grandchildren. A life taken too soon from us. RIP my friend. We will greatly MISS You. Life is a present, cherish the memories made...Our Prayers and Thoughts are with you.

John, Jason, Lucas and families:
We are deeply saddened by the loss of a great lady and friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and know you will find the strength from each other to get through this most difficult time. Susan always greeted us
with a smile and open arms. We have been remembering the good times had by all at the hockey games and tournaments the boys participated in. I often wondered who had the most fun - the kids or the parents. The weekends spent at Snow Road and the many house parties at the Carson home. And Susan would be right in the middle of it all - laughing and dancing. And she would dance alone in front of the tvs in the hotel rooms, dance around the poker games, and do her own dance on the dancefloor at receptions and weddings. Her smile and enjoyment was contagious. We will miss you Susan. You were taken much too soon. Dance on!
